Is shipping free?

We offer FREE SHIPPING Australia wide for all sunglass orders over $99.

  • For orders under $99 we offer Standard Shipping for $4.95
  • Express Shipping is optional for all Australian order for $12.95

Do you ship overseas?

Yes we ship internationally! The shipping rate varies by country, please see below list:

NZ: $10 NZD | USA: $8 USD | CANADA: $10 CAD | UK: £8 GBP | SINGAPORE: $10 SGD | EUROPE: 10€ Euro | REST of WORLD: Flat Rate $25 AUD

How long will delivery of my order take?

We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 24-48 hours after receiving confirmation of a successful payment. We use Australia Post for all Australian orders. Delivery can take up to 4-7 business days to metro areas and 7-10 business days to the rest of Australia (excluding weekends and public holidays).

For international orders we use Australia Post International, which can take 6-12 business days depending on country/territory.

How do I track my order?

Once an order is dispatched, an email is sent with a tracking number that can be tracked via Australia Post.

The sunnies don’t suit me! What do I do now?

We understand that buying sunglasses online can be tricky, so we accept change of mind returns on all full priced sunglasses within 14 days of delivery. This includes full priced items purchased with a discount code. 

If you find yourself in a position where your new Life Less Common sunnies don’t suit you, then please request a return via our RETURNS PORTAL within 14 days of receiving your sunnies. We will send more information on how to return the sunnies.

To be eligible for a refund, exchange or store credit, the sunglasses must be:

  • Unworn and clean from any smudges or fingerprints
  • Returned in original condition with all labels, swings tags and packaging
  • Be within 14 days of order being delivered

If your order meets the above criteria, you can choose to:

  • Refund purchase amount (via original payment method)
  • Exchange for another style
  • Exchange for store credit

Once item has been received at LLC Studio and the saleable condition confirmed, we will process your refund, exchange or store credit. Please be aware that refunds may take 2-3 days to be deposited into a bank account.

How does the RETURNS PORTAL work?

  • To start a return, please click HERE to go to our return portal
  • Please enter you order number and email address linked to the order
  • Select which item your like to return and your reason
  • Select which resolution option you prefer (eg. refund, exchange, store credit)
  • We will assess your claim and send you further instructrions
  • For Australian orders, we will send you pre-paid shipping label, as per our FREE RETURNS policy.
  • For International orders, we are unable to offer free returns. Any shipping costs involved in returning the item is at the customer’s expense. We strongly recommend using a tracking service when sending the item back to ensure its safe arrival. Life Less Common cannot be held responsible for any lost or undelivered returns.

How long does the refund take?

Once item has been received at LLC Studio and its saleable condition confirmed, then a refund will be processed using original payment method within 24 hours of receiving the goods. Please be aware it may take 2-3 days to be deposited into a bank account. 

Can get a refund or exchange on a sale item?

Unfortunately no. All sale items are FINAL SALE. No returns or exchanges will be accepted on sale items for change of mind. This does not effect the 12 month warranty or your consumer rights (ACCC).

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make a change to an order that has been placed, please contact LLC Studio immediately. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed or dispatched, so please contact the studio immediately to check the status of the order.

What payment types are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal via our online store. We also offer Afterpay and Zip Pay which you may be eligible to use if you are an Australian resident over 18 years. More information on Afterpay is available here.

Do LLC sunnies take prescription lenses?

YES! All Life Less Common frames can take prescription or custom lenses. Simply take the frame to your own optometrist for your custom lens to be fitted.

Life Less Common is unable to process prescription lenses directly on behalf of customers. Please check with YOUR OWN optometrist before purchasing Life Less Common sunglasses to check that they are willing and able to fit a custom lens on a Life Less Common frame. Any dealing with third parties such as an optometrist, and any expenses incurred are the responsibility of the customer, who does so at their own risk. Life Less Common is not responsible for the outcome or liable in anyway.

What if my sunnies are faulty?

We offer a 12-month limited warranty from date of purchase which covers manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials. Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase to validate your warranty.

This warranty does not include general wear, scratched or broken lenses, fading or frame deterioration. Damage not associated with normal wear, such as pressure breaks, excessive heat, intentional bending, abuse or general misuse is also not covered.

If there is a genuine defect, please email contact@lifelesscommon.com with your name, order number or proof of purchase. Please attach photos of the sunglasses and the issue, so we can resolve as quickly as possible. On review of warranty claim, Life Less Common reserves the right to replace or repair items, in part or full at our complete discretion.

How do I care for my sunnies?

To protect your Life Less Common sunglasses, your purchase comes with a microfibre cloth and triangular hard case which can be folded flat for easy storage when not in use. Sunglasses should be kept protected in this case when not being worn. Show your sunglasses some love and clean your lenses and frames regularly with the microfibre cloth. The cloth can be washed when necessary in mild soapy water and air dried.

Please treat your Life Less Common sunglasses with care. Do not drop your product, do not subject your product to water or chemicals, and ensure your product is not left in an environment where temperatures may exceed 50 degrees Celsius (like as a hot car). Any damage caused through such situations will not be covered under the 12-month warranty.

What is polarisation?

Polarisation is a thin film coating on the lens that blocks reflected light (glare) of flat surfaces, such as water or roads. This makes improves image clarity and colour.

A lot of people believe that the darkness or tint of a lens is what protects your eyes, but this is not true. Tints can relieve squinting and offer temporary relief but don’t protect against harmful UV rays or stop glare. The only way to truly protect your eyes in this harsh Australian sun is to have polarised lenses and UV protection.

All Life Less Common sunglasses are polarised for superior image clarity and have 100% UVA/UVB protection.

Life Less Common sunglasses are designed in Melbourne, Australia at the LLC Studio. All our sunglasses are hand-crafted in China using quality global sourced components.
